PGM Sport Marine Ltd Exclusive Distributor of YAMAHA MOTOR in CYPRUS.

Trading as Sport Marine with headquarters in Limassol - Cyprus, was founded by George Michaelides, who has been in the Marine business since 1967.

In 1989 a new era began for the company with the Distribution Agreement between Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd and Sport Marine for the Distribution in Cyprus of Yamaha Marine Products. It was not long after that the company was first in sales in Outboards and Watercrafts on the island. The proof was the "Distributors Award" that Sport Marine was awarded in 1993 from Yamaha Motor for excellent achievement in the marketing and sales of Yamaha Outboards and Waverunners. From that point and up to date the company received many awards and recognition in all product categories.

In 2002 Four Winns Boat Company trusted its distribution for Cyprus to Sport Marine.
The same year Sport Marine teamed up with Jobe Sports for the distribution for Cyprus, offering a full line up of watersports equipment.

In 2005 the company was involved in Land Products. Introducing successfully for the first time Yamaha Golf Cars, ATVs, Generators, Water Pumps and an excellent service and spare parts supply.

In 2011, Hyundai SeasAll and Sport Marine signed an agreement for the distribution of Hyundai Marine Diesel engines in Cyprus. This gave new potentials to the company to enter the re-powering marine diesel engine market.

Sport Marine once more upgraded it's service standards and as of 2011 offers a full range of Land and Marine services, Yacht Management, Insurance and Financing possibilities.

In 2012 the biggest name and world’s largest manufacturer of Ribs and Inflatable boats, Zodiac Marine came to an agreement with Sport Marine for the distribution in Cyprus of the full range of Zodiac. This gave a new potential to the company to enter successfully the Rib and Inflatable boat business with a Legendary Brand.

In 2017 Sport Marine officially announces that as of January 1st 2017, is the official exclusive distributor of Yamaha Motorcycles and Scooters in Cyprus. This achievement brings all Yamaha Motor Co. products under one roof for the first time ever in Cyprus.
